The Dafugui butterfly valve uses a disc-shaped closing element that rotates around the valve stem to open and close. It is durable, easy to maintain, and can be used to control the flow of various fluids such as air, water, and steam. It is suitable for various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metals, and radioactive media.
Butterfly valves typically open to close less than 90°. The valve and stem themselves lack self-locking capability; therefore, a worm gear reducer is installed on the stem for positioning the butterfly plate. Using a worm gear reducer not only gives the butterfly plate self-locking capability, allowing it to stop at any position, but also improves the valve's operational performance.
They are heat-resistant, have a wide applicable pressure range, large nominal diameter, and the valve body is made of carbon steel. The valve plate's sealing ring uses a metal ring instead of a rubber ring. Large high-temperature butterfly valves are manufactured using welded steel plates and are mainly used in flue gas ducts and gas pipelines for high-temperature media.
1. During installation, the valve disc should be in the closed position.
2. The opening position should be determined by the rotation angle of the butterfly plate.
3. For butterfly valves with a bypass valve, the bypass valve should be opened first before the main valve.
4. Installation should be performed according to the manufacturer's installation instructions. For heavy butterfly valves, a stable foundation should be provided.
